Are you new here? Welcome!
This is a page I’ve prepared just for you so you can see how things operate.
Just a quick note to welcome you if you’re among the hundreds of new-to-me people who’ve signed up to receive my newsletters recently.
HELLO! It’s great to have you here. Let me explain how we get acquainted.
To begin with, I have a sequence of three emails that I send to you automatically. These contain the free books you wanted, and the sequence is set to deliver over a three week period so as not to swamp you. Just follow the instructions in each email and you’ll get your books without a problem. If you mistakenly signed up twice for the free books and find yourself getting the introductory emails again, just get in touch with me and I’ll sort it out.
The three email sequence have black headers like this one…
And then there are the newsletters that I send out once or twice a month – sometimes more often if things get hectic – around launch day, for example.
The regular newsletter emails have a blue header like the one at the top of this page.
At the foot of every email I send out is an unsubscribe button. It’s there for a reason. If getting my emails makes you unhappy, accept my apologies and click that link! I want you to enjoy the newsletters just as thousands of other people like you do. I hope you’ll stay around for the journey.
On the other hand, if you enjoy my newsletters, and you know someone who likes reading thrillers as much as you do, then help spread the word and your friends get a couple of free books to introduce them to me. Copy the below link address and paste it into a text message or an email or even on your favourite social media platform. Here’s that link address https://www.andrewbarrett.co.uk/
And if you have been forwarded this newsletter and would like to subscribe for yourself, please click HERE to go to my website, and enter your email address.
There are lots of ways we can stay in touch outside of the newsletters. The best is The Andrew Barrett Readers Group on Facebook. I’m on there most days – and I always check in at the very least. It can be quite a busy place, but if you enjoy reading anything, not just my books, then it’s a great place to hang out and chat – everyone is very friendly, and you’ll be made very welcome.

Incidentally, if you join the list using one email and then contact me using a different email, I won’t know who you are. Help me, I’m simple, use only one email address or at least tell me that you usually contact me under another address.
A little bit about me
Here are just few lines about me – I want us to feel less like strangers and more like friends.
If you haven’t heard about me – and most people haven’t, I’m under no illusion – then you probably won’t know about Roger Conniston or Eddie Collins.
My first crime thrillers, A Long Time Dead, Stealing Elgar, and No More Tears – written between 1997 and 2004 – are available individually, or as a boxset, only on Amazon. Here we see Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) Roger Conniston do battle with the self professed God of the Criminal Underworld, Hades. At stake is everything Roger cares about and everything Hades cares about too. This trilogy has a very loyal following, and I’m often asked to write a follow-up. We’ll see..
I also write about a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) [not too difficult to do if you are one. And I am one] called Eddie Collins. I won’t go into detail here about him or the books he’s starred in, but you can certainly check those out here. There are six books in his series and four novellas. You could also spend a while trawling through the website: see Interviews, and The Story of…
